Refund Policy

Overview

We want you to be confident about subscribing to Subpanel. This policy explains when refunds are available and how to request one. You can also cancel at any time from the customer portal — cancellation stops the next renewal and is the right path if you don't need a refund of the current period.

Monthly plans

Monthly plans (Basic $39/month, Growth $79/month) are billed at the start of each calendar month of access. You can cancel anytime from your billing portal and you'll keep access until the end of the current paid period.

Partial-month refunds are not offered for monthly plans — the canceled month plays out to the end of its period and renewal stops. We'll still consider a discretionary refund if the Service was unavailable or broken for a meaningful portion of that month.

Annual plans

Annual plans (Basic $390/year, Growth $790/year) come with a 14-day money-back guarantee. If you decide Subpanel isn't for you within 14 days of the initial charge, email us and we'll refund the full annual fee.

After day 14, annual plans become non-refundable but can be cancelled at any time. Cancellation prevents the next yearly renewal — you keep access until the end of the paid year.

If you upgrade from monthly to annual, the 14-day window resets from the date of the annual charge. If you downgrade from annual to monthly mid-cycle, the unused annual time is forfeited (no pro-rata cash refund), but credit may be applied at our discretion.

Enterprise

Enterprise contracts are negotiated individually. Refund and cancellation terms are set in the contract, not in this policy. Contact your dedicated success contact or hello@subpanel.io to discuss.

How to request a refund

Email refunds@subpanel.io from the email address on your workspace account. Please include:

  • The workspace name (or the email on the account)
  • The plan (Basic / Growth) and billing period (monthly / annual)
  • The date of the charge you'd like refunded
  • A brief note on what didn't work for you — this helps us improve the product

Processing time

Approved refunds are issued back to the original payment method within 5–10 business days. Your card issuer or bank may take additional time to display the refund on your statement.

We process refunds in the same currency as the original charge. If your card issuer applies an exchange-rate difference, that's outside our control.

Exceptions

Refunds are not available in the following circumstances:

  • The account was suspended or terminated for a breach of the Terms of Service.
  • The request is made more than 14 days after an annual plan's charge (cancellation is still available).
  • The request is for a monthly plan and the relevant month has already played out without an availability issue.
  • Refunds for usage-based or add-on fees on Enterprise plans, where the contract specifies non-refundability.
